Born and raised in San Francisco, when it came time to start a family Lei decided to expand her Bay Area roots to Berkeley. She has always enjoyed living in vibrant cities.
As a student at NYU she thrived in the big city graduating magna cum laude and was invited to join the prestigious honors society, Phi Beta Kappa. After living in NY she had a brief stint in LA before returning home to her beloved Bay Area. She chose Berkeley because she wanted the proximity to culture and urban life with easy access to nature. She also found the real estate
opportunities in the East Bay were better for first time home buyers.
Exploring the East Bay she discovered the area has it all: houses with big yards, family friendly communities, good schools, great hiking trails, incredible restaurants, and a thriving art scene.It was in this search, where she and her partner, John, toured over 100 homes! Now happily living in Westbrae with their two boys, Lei and John know that visiting all those Open Houses was key in finding their perfect home and community.
That experience sparked her journey into the real estate world. With a family background in real estate, she understands the importance of home ownership in creating generational wealth and stability. As a people person, she is communicative and enjoys meeting new clients to find out their story: their dreams, their lines in the sand, what they absolutely can’t live without.
Before entering the real estate world, Lei worked in the film & advertising industry with top talent and Academy Award winning directors. She learned to pay close attention to the details while also managing big picture concepts. She is collaborative, data driven and solutions oriented. With a can-do mindset, she is a consummate optimist and believes that through hard work you can achieve anything.
