For as long as I can remember real estate has always just struck a chord with me. Right from my early days building anything I could imagine with Lego, it was almost inevitable that I would follow a career in real estate. I’ve always been intrigued by the built environment and the way buildings work with people and society; adapting over time so that their function fits our different practical needs, evolving with design cues and trends.

What sets me apart from the crowd? My deep knowledge and experience with real estate combined with my love of working with people. Over the last 20 years, I was an accredited Chartered Surveyor and real estate portfolio asset manager, working on shopping center leasing and office redevelopment projects, plus many individual residential spaces. I've found that my love of collaborating with people on a more personal level -- listening to their needs, understanding their hopes for the future, and connecting them with a place they can truly call home -- means that being a Realtor is simply where I belong.

I continue to nurture the Lego builder inside me, and recently I comprehensively refurbished my north Oakland home with my own two hands. I’m always very happy to talk through my experiences and thoughts about any ‘fixer’ projects.

Outside of work I’m happiest in nature and the outdoors. Being from the UK means that a bit of Bay Area fog and drizzle never puts me off, so you'll find me out and about whenever I have the chance. As a keen hiker and cyclist there’s always a new trail to be discovered. I first started spending time in the East Bay 25 years ago and immediately felt a deep connection to the area. Something just clicked with me. You can’t choose where you’re born, but you can choose where you’re from… and I’m from the Bay.
